About Julia Moore
Nature and the sciences have always been an interest of mine; I find passion in creating beautiful scientific and medical illustrations for others to understand and connect to the natural world. For the past 7 years I have worked as a medical illustrator at Amicus Visual Solutions, a medical legal firm, specializing in creating medical legal illustrations for court use. I've also worked with various companies creating scientific infographics which have been published in textbooks, magazines, online and international publications. I also offer botanical and field sketching classes for the public.
I earned a BFA in Scientific and Preparatory Medical Illustration with a minor in biology at Virginia Commonwealth University.
