About Julia Moore
I’ve always been captivated by nature and the sciences, and I find joy in creating scientific and medical illustrations that help others connect with the natural world.
​
For over 11 years, I’ve worked as a medical illustrator at Amicus Visual Solutions, a medical-legal firm specializing in courtroom visuals. I also collaborate with companies to create scientific infographics, published in textbooks, magazines, online platforms, and international journals. In addition to illustration, I teach botanical and field sketching classes.
​
I hold a BFA in Scientific and Preparatory Medical Illustration with a Biology minor from Virginia Commonwealth University.
